error in copying dialog window in nautilus

Binary package hint: nautilus

When I'm copying a file from a folder to another (only one file) the dialog window don't display correctly the name of the file, only shows very strange characters.

My language is es_ES.UTF-8.

thanks for your report, may you tell us the name of those folders? I haven't seen something similar and I'm using es_ES as my locale too, thanks.

The name of the folders doesn't matters, I tested with /home/sergio and /home/sergio/tmp, but with external USB disks I have the same problem. Even with diferent computers with Ubuntu 8.04 too.

To reproduce the problem you need to copy a big file that require some time to be copied (for example 400Mb), otherwise you won't see the dialog window.

The issue is due to the spanish translations
