load freeze in loading hardware drivers

Bug Description

When i boot with the desktop CD of Ubuntu 8.4 Hardy Heron Relase candidate on my laptop HP, the loading freeze in "loading hardware drivers".

The 2 last lines are :

- b43legacy-phy0: Broadcom 4301 WLAN found
- Clocksource tsc unstable (delta = 4687308187 ns)

and nothing else...

Ubuntu 7.10 work perfectly on my laptop.

yesterday, I try to install Hardy Heron with alternate cd and it works but when I boot, I have the same problem.
And Ubuntu 7.10 work perfectly on my laptop too. I use Compaq Preserio R3000

ps. it is the same problem when I run livecd of Hardy too.

Now I have the the same problem with the Hardy final version, I try with the destop and the alternate CD, both stop at "loading hardware drivers" with the same message.

My computer is a laptop HP Pavilion zv5000.

I can not use or install Ubuntu 8.04 on this computer.

but it not solve the problem in my labtop :(
