Firefox 3 beta 5 won't import or restore bookmarks

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I can't restore or import a previously backed up bookmarks file. I did the backup right before and removed all settings and then when I tried to restore my bookmarks it didn't work. Nothing prints to CLI. This is on up2date Hardy.

did you manage to get your bookmarks imported. we are at 3.0.3 now and most rough edges probably have been polished by now.
