User is logged out when a numpad number key is pressed

I have the same problem, I am working on a Acer ASPIRE 9500 laptop.

My xorg.conf is attached.

Problem fixed after uninstalling Xgl and and installed manually the latest ATI catalyst drivers (downloaded form the ati website not Ubuntu depositories).

I have the same problem on my Ubuntu Hardy (8.04). I have an Acer Aspire T630.

Is the keyboard the problem? Keyboard model is: KB-2971

I have the solution:

Go to :
1) System
2) Preferences
3) Keyboard (Tab: Mouse Keys)
4) Uncheck (Allow to control pointer using the keyboard).

Had have exactly the same problem on Pavilion dv9000

This bug is being set to Won't Fix since xserver-xgl has been removed from Intrepid and using it is deprecated.
