Bug Description
I'm working on a Compaq nx9420 laptop, with the new releas of Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, just updated last night. When I press a number key on the numpad (on both the laptop itself or on an external keyboard) I am immediately logged out and the login screen appears. When the keys '/', '*', '-' and '+' are pressed, nothing at all happens. It is independent of the application that is active when the key is pressed. The enter key works normally, and the Num Lock key also.

I have the same problem, I am working on a Acer ASPIRE 9500 laptop.
