Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Hardy Heron will not download files to Desktop. The download starts, then immediately stalls. This leaves a .part file and a zero-length name file when cancelled.

Exhibits the same behavior if I change the download folder to, e.g., ~/Downloads/.

This is Ubuntu 8.04 LTS for x86.

hi i have the same bug i firefox final. i try to download a large file (ubuntu hardy 8.04.1) no file is save and the flie.part continu to grow up.

 The only difference is that I am using Ubuntu 9.04 - the Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009., Mozilla Firefox 3.0.12
