Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I can't see any of the normal text on my web site http://cotcum.org/ using the Firefox 3.0b5 that comes with Ubuntu 8.04. I can see the text if I select it. Other web sites seem okay. But my website has been working (the text is black) when I use the latest (non-beta) release of Firefox and either Windows XP or Vista. I haven't tried any other browsers with Ubuntu nor have I tried the Firefox beta with windows.

I can confirm this but am not sure what kind of bug is this. It is mainly due to the CSS rendering making the text color to be something similar to the background. When I select 'No Style' am getting the text to be displayed in Viewable color. Opening the same web site in Firefox for Windows, renders the text in viewable color.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest version of Firefox? Thanks in advance.

I have recently checked the website mentioned using firefox 3.0.10 and it seems that everything is just fine now...
Marking this as invalid. If someone else is experiencing this, feel free to reopen this, and attach a screenshot, mentioning which firefox version is being used, and whether any plugins are affecting it's rendering.
