Bug Description

In hardy heron problems are listed below:
*- Automatically mounting of harddisk drives not possible and previously in gutsy etc it mounted automatically.
*- allow access to all hardware inside pc to all users not just root,eg i have tvtuner,nic ethernet card etc all available to used by only root privileges,when i open tvtime as some user it doesnt detect hardware.please correct this.

Don't report more than one problem in one bug report. Of course it's possible to automount hard disks. You need to be more detailed on how you try to do it.
It's also false that only root can use the ethernet card. Every user can connect to the internet.

ok,i tried editing fstab below is fstab file details

i have other fat partitions that i like to mount automatically.

/dev/sda6: TYPE="swap" UUID="921f462a-5816-4040-97ef-850e469c4687"
/dev/sda7: UUID="268bde23-9222-4680-86d4-ccad2705eec6" TYPE="ext2"
/dev/sda8: LABEL="COPPERHEAD" UUID="481C-0DE8" TYPE="vfat"
/dev/sda9: LABEL="HUMMING" UUID="481C-0EDB" TYPE="vfat"

now how to fix this?
