window not properly maximized

Bug Description
Ubuntu hardy heron 8.04
Hi I've experienced this bug while using mozilla firefox as well as gnome terminal
I hope this explanation will suffice:
Sometimes when i click the upper right button to maximize a (non-maximized) window, it doesn't resize the window properly, the content of the window isn't resized to fit the window. I have compiz enabled (don't know if it's related or not).
Also, the contents of the window seem to be stuck (cannot type in, click etc.), I have to unmaximize and maximize again to display the window normally.
I have attached a screenshot to show the problem.

It doesn't happen always, maybe the first time you unmaximize/maximize a window. It does happen after 3-4 retries.
I couldn't reproduce it in metacity, so I'm marking it as a compiz bug
