Bug Description

For the past $X releases of Ubuntu we've disabled the middle-click paste of a URL into the main window causes a page-change. (MIddle-click paste still works on the icon in the URL bar).

This override seems to have been accidentally dropped again from Hardy.

The reason that this override has been in place is because a irreversible state-change can be caused without an obvious indication of what happened.

This is VERY irritating behaviour, since I'm used to open links in a new tab by middle-clicking on them. If I miss by a bit (which tends to happen after a long day), I'm either taken to a completely different page or I have to confirm a dialog that does not make any sense ("The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded").

PLEASE go back to the old behaviour.

middlemouse.contentLoadURL should be false for a long time (in ubufox). If you dont use ubufox you get the unmodified upstream behaviour.
