Bug Description

I am trying to enable direct rendering so I can run the desktop effects. Through my testing I noticed that if I run glxinfo as root it says that direct rendering is enabled so I found through online searching that in the xorg.conf I need to enter the lines:
Section "DRI"
    Mode 0666
EndSection
and this option used to work fine before the upgrade to hardy, however now when I uncomment this line in my xorg.conf without changing anything else it forces failsafe mode so it seems it is no longer parsing this option correctly and sees it as wrong. Let me know what other information you need. Attached is my xorg.conf

You don't need that option anymore, it's on by default (same goes to Composite..). Closing the bug.
