Hello,

Have you had a chance to test your hardware with dapper (a live CD perhaps)? If so are you still seeing this problem? Thanks.

Lucas, according to the Xorg.6.log file you attached to this bug, the mga driver can detect the 1024x768 resolution correctly - this seems to be a DDC detection problem, not a driver issue.

If possible, please attach the output of "sudo ddcprobe", and "sudo xresprobe mga".

Thank you in advance!

(also, I've changed the bug to 'xresprobe' instead of 'xorg', since it appears to be a DDC problem)
