Bug Description

OpenOffice 2.4.1rc1 from hardy proposed displays only big black blocks when settings fontsize >96DPI.

Tested on two different machines

OpenOffice OOH680_m17 (=OpenOffice 2.4.1RC2) from http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/
works as expected, fontsize can be scaled and displayed up to 999DPI.

OpenOffice 2.4.1rc2 from hardy proposed brought some relief.

Fonts can be scaled now up to 210 pts. (Sorry no DPI as mentioned in my first post) before displaying goes weird.

Although scaling fonts >210 pts. is not an everyday task, OpenOffice.org in Ubuntu should work as desigend (scaling is possible up to 999pts.).

This is probably due a bug in cairo as mentioned in another bug report. I will merge the bugs once I find the older one.

Thanks,

Chris
