When a page is unsaved, hitting show all, followed by "apply" to save settings results in the page being reloaded in the background, blocking you from using it again

Bug #23818 reported by Trent Lloyd

kde-systemsettings (Ubuntu)

Kubuntu Bugs

Bug Description

a) Open system settings (k menu -> system settings)
b) Click network settings
c) Do something to make a change, e.g. go into admin mode and change something, or change profile
d) Hit 'show all'
e) Answer 'apply' to the save settings prompt

You will not the 'detecting platform' message that is shown at the start comes up again this is because the
network settings have been reopened in the background, and if you try to go back to it, you can't because its
already open.

This is *not* specific to the network thingy, I've had it happen on a few others, bluetooth, etc. and specifically
happens as a result of not saving changes and hitting apply (cancel doesn't have the same effect)

I cannot reproduce this with latest Dapper - I suspect this introduced with early kde 3.5.2 packages.
Hobbsee: can you reproduce this?

I think the problem is that when Show All is selected, that knetworkconf module still stays running (and does not go down as other modules).
However I do not see any side effects of this behaviour.

One side effect is that if you go back into the module you can't open it as it says its already open

I have the "detecting platform" message come up briefly whether I apply through that message or with the apply button. I can go back into the module without issue.
