Bug Description

I am using xorg-driver-fglrx 6.8.0-8.16.20-0ubuntu16.
When I start the xserver with TV-out on my display's brightness goes to
maximum.The TV-out screen is normal.
If I write
Option "SWcursor" "on"
Option "HWcursor" "off"
to Xorg.conf file the brightness problem goes away but my mouse cursor isn't
working correctly.

there are 2 solutions :
- yours, with "Option ?Wcursor"
- or unplug the cable from the "output tv" from the card ;-(

it seems it concerns only old cards (9200, 9000, perhaps 7500 ?)

it seems it's an "xorg bug"
because here is a post from a man on fedora4 :
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2506
(it could be in relation with that :
