Bug Description

In Hoary this application worked perfectly (limited as it is) with this hardware but in Breezy the application allows one to send txts by bluetooth but does not seem to intercept the ones sent to the phone any more.

I purged the package and reinstalled it but it still doesn't work. I have tested the connection by OBEXing pictures in both directions and all seems fine. Is there a trace or something which I could send you to help you identify the problem?

Same here with SonyEriccson K750i. I've googled for mention of the problem and fix. Lots of problem mentions but no fix.
Connected via usb on /dev/ttyACM0.
Sending is fine, just no receiving nor a receipt notification area.
It's been 6 months since release of this version, any update?

Glad to see somebody else write on this bug! Did your phone work on a previous version or have you not tried it before?

According to the remote bug watch the developers are waiting on the output of gnokii-identify. I didn't realise that they wanted this as I have only been watching this tracker. Can somebody tell me how to get this output for them?

As expected, the phone and the icon show that they are connected, people receive messages that I send, but nothing pops up on the screen when I receive a message (the phone of course shows it).

Gnome-phone-manager 0.10 is in Gutsy now (and gnokii 0.6.18). Can you test if it is still affected by this issue?
