Bug Description
The application chooser in file-roller is rather unfriendly compared to the one
provided by nautilus.
This is very similar to the firefox problem, reported here:
http://
It would be nice if all of the "standard" applications could share the same (or
a similar) dialog.
Example: Try to open a file with a non-default application in nautilus.
- view properties
- view open with...
- click "add"
- select from the list of human-friendly application titles and icons
Try to open a file with a non-default application in file-roller:
- (user is presented with a totally different interface)
- select "open files..."
- figure out the full path to the application and copy/paste it into the
Application textbox.
