Bug Description

Recently I attempted to install Wubi On 3 Separate systems. They were Windows XP Home / Windows Vista Home / Windows XP MCE. All the windows versions include all patches to bring them up to date (VIA Windows Updates).

Once installed the Wubi Installer allowed the system to boot into ubuntu.

After running a system clean (Junk files, and registry cleanup) with the programs CCleaner and NCleaner by Piriform LTD. All the file systems were corrupted. (note these are 3 separate boxes).

The system would then allow me to Uninstall Wubi via the add remove programs or using Ccleaners Uninstall tool. After uninstall of the file system the system could be rebooted but still showed Ubuntu as a boot option, when entered it would allow the boot to the ubuntu loading screen then drop to busybox 1.0 with the command (Infoscm) and a flashing cursor icon following but then freezes entirely. (Again I assume this is due to a corrupt file system).

I attempted to reinstall Wubi to correct the error (With the ideal it may overwrite the bootloader and allow full uninstalls.) but it just listed a second ubuntu boot option on system restart. I would report any log files I have but none are left due to the uninstall, and I am unsure where to locate any resident files left behind by the installer.
