when reporting a new bug, LP assumes the package from previous bug report

I don't understand this bug report. What do you mean by "LP (EDGE) assumes/hints the package from previous bug report"?
Can you please include steps to reproduce the bug and URLs where I can see the problem?

i did this experiment:
i reported this:

and then went to report a new bug by pressing the Bugs label. the problem is that it was kept on the same source, but not the project

so when i got to select the package:
In what package did you find this bug?

    * I don't know
    * (Choose…)

it was already pre-selected gkrellmoon.

it should be "I don't know"

Now I understand. I think this is a duplicate of bug 193602. The proper solution is to add an option to file a bug in another package.

I think we shouldn't default to "I don't know" based on bug 195620

Actually #193602 should be a dup from this one, since this has more information, and is reported against malone directly and not FF.

Bug #195620 should not happen so much now, since the fix of 172616, which I'm sure as the reason for the origin of 195620.
