Yes, I noticed this erronous behaviour too. In my case Evolution freezes when
one of the task has an attachment.

Thanks for your bug report. Which version of Ubuntu and Evolution do you use?
Could you please attach the back trace (the text in the bug-buddy dialog), when
this happens next time?

Irina, Martijn: any luck with the back trace? If you still have trouble in
Breezy, could you use the debug packages from
http://people.ubuntu.com/~seb128/debug-pkgs/ and post the back trace from the
bug buddy dialog?

I am suffering from this same problem, again with Breezy Badger and Evolution 2.4.1 from the Ubuntu package.

The problem occurs when I try and view 90% of my tasks, and I haven't as of yet been able to identify any difference between the ones that work and the ones that don't. Although to be fair thats probably because it locks too quickly for me to be able to do much research.

Bug Buddy doesn't pop up when it happens, I just have to kill the application. What more information can I supply to help resolve this problem?

Could you get a backtrace with gdb?
- gdb evolution
(gdb) run
... crash
(gdb) thread apply all bt

and copy that to a comment
