Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase
The application launcher (K menu) switches tabs when the mouse merely hovers over a different tab, rather than requiring that the tab be clicked.
This is very annoying when you're mousing down to the bottom of a list of entries in the Application tab, and you overshoot and the mouse wanders on to the Computer tab and your application list suddenly vanishes without warning.

Right click on the KDE icon -> application launcher settings -> untick the switch on hover setting.
