Bug Description

After switching the handedness of the mouse in the mouse control panel, the orientation of the mouse pointer does not change. So, if this was fixed, or an option for changing the orientation of the mouse pointer was added, then after switching the mouse into left handed mode, the default pointer cursor would point to the right, and the hand icon would be that of a left hand.

I confirmed that this event does not happen as well as it is something that should happen. I will do some looking around to find the right place for this bug.

Could you try this in Ubuntu 9.10 since it's hit Beta?
