Please pocket copy KDE 3.5.10 from hardy-backports to hardy-updates

I've installed every single non-dbg package and it's installable and so far working without any regressions.

Great work! Everything seems to run smoothly, and the only changes noticed until now are cosmetic improvements to the taskbar. I'll report again later after testing them some more.

use it now for 2 days I think. Works perfectly. Except one minor thing: the system tray does not pack the icons in 2 rows. The older version does this. But I think most people will not notice this.

I had notice the same thing, considered it likely a consequence of an extra
package I installed in testing (I installed every single non-debug package
to test before uploading). Thanks for letting us know.

Is it permanent that it doesn't pack the icons in the system tray?
It works fine for me (as long as I have it set to size: Large). Could be a change to when it chooses to do the packing.

I've found what I believe to be the fix in upstream kde svn. I've build the package with the fix included:

Please test and report back if this fixes the problem.

New kdebase is uploaded to hardy-backports. It'll take time to build, but please test. It fixes the system tray problem for me.

New kicker-taskbar-compiz uploaded. Once it's accepted please report results here or in Bug #261694.

Fixed kdepim is uploaded now too.

I think this is ready to go.
