Bug Description

Binary package hint: spamassassin

hi guys:

i'm having some problems with evolution & spamassassin. recently when i installed intrepid alpha 4, evolution send me a warning with a message like this

"spamassassin is not installed" or something like that

so i decided to install it. so recently when i make evolution work, after a nasty bug that showed messages as ?????, i synchronized again my email. and all messages that i received from bug reports from launchpad where as junk mail! and some other mails that weren't spam!

and a new warning appeared: "spamassassin sent code 1" or something like that. so i decided to uninstall. and now again evolution is crying like a baby because spamassassin is not avaliable!

is this a bug?? because i don't remember to had ever configured spamassassin on previous ubuntu versions.

You say this happened on intrepid alpha 4. Do you still experience this on current released versions of Ubuntu?
