Error when streaming missing depayloader plugin

If you run firefox from command line you get lot's of useful debug output.

Normally it's a workaround to use VLC instead (also has a mozilla plugin) but right now there is bug #275980 which disables RTSP[1] support in VLC.

If you get the same issue with banshee then this is more like a gstreamer issue rather than a totem one.

Just tested mentioned links using totem in Jaunty: no problems, it plays streams.

Dmitriy: The link I provided doesn't work. Well, it plays it a little but only like 0,1 fps and the audio just skips.

Yes, for me it also plays as slideshow. Totem says it's WM8 format. Maybe installing win32/64 codecs from mplayer will help.
