Gnome settings lost after logout / re-login

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

In Intrepid, my personnal gnome theme is loaded on fist login. But if I logout from gnome and then login again, I get a default theme.

g-s-d is version 2.23.92-0ubuntu1

 * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
 * Do you still get the issue using the current version?
