It would be nice if bzr-upload could also take the `bzr version-info --custom --template ....` off my hands.
I suppose a relative path and the template itself would have to be configurable.

While I see the interest for such a feature, I wonder why you reported it against this plugin and not against bzr itself...
Can you elaborate on why you need it when uploading a site and not (for example) when exporting a branch (since the later reported recently ;)
And do you think it should be an option for the 'upload' command or some additional parameters for the --auto hook ?
May be exposing your actual workflow and its rationales may help too.
