Connect to server dialog forgets username to FTP server

Bug Description

Hi,

when I try to log in to FTP server, my username gets dropped during login process. I attach a video that describes my problem, username is switched to "ftp" instead of what I wrote. Ubuntu 8.04, (almost) fresh install, updated.

Well, to be precise: that's related only to UI, not to FTP login - it works well.

Are you sure that is not a problem with your password? Have you tried to log in from/to another machine?

The problem is in nautilus-connect-server but Launchpad don't recognize it

As I wrote above, it's not about login. It's only about user interface :)

Thank you for your bug report. What ubuntu version do you use? Could somebody having the bug sending it to bugzilla.gnome.org?
