Setting Video of Multimedia Systems Selector,Application exit automatically

Bug Description

"System"->"Multimedia System Selector"->"Video"->"Default Sink"->"Output"
select "Xwindows (X11/XShm/Xv)"->click "Test". Application exit automatically.

When "Output" select "Custom", same effect appear.

is this still a problem in kde 3.5.2?

Also, some more info to reproduce the bug would be good - I dont seem to have a Multimedia System Selector in my system menu.
