[Dapper] Automatic podcast update doesn't work

I configured RB to check for new podcasts every hour. But, it doesn't work, I always have to check the feeds manually.

The problem is back in current Dapper, I keep having to poll the feeds manually, it won't do it automatically any more.

Vincent, "Fix Commited" means "Fixed upstream", bug fixed to Ubuntu are "Fix Released", that one should be fixed with 0.9.4.1 or maybe CVS and then the next version

Oops, sorry.....

That gives me an idea... maybe the doc team could add a section in the Help system: "Malone : Beginners Guide: efficient use through proper understanding" :-)

This issue is affecting me in Rhythmbox 3.0.2 on 14.04 LTS.

I have two podcasts, both served by iTunes, (so m4a format). Automatic podcast updates are enabled and set to hourly, but they never update.

If I go to the list of podcasts, 'All 2 (2)' will be selected. If i click the 'update' button, I expect that all podcasts will be updated but again nothing happens.

Right click > "Update all feeds" also does not work.

I have to select each podcast individually, and manually force update each one before it will find new podcasts.
