Thanks for your bug. Does that work if you run "sudo pmi action hibernate"?

Yes, suspend-to-RAM works after I login. I'm assuming you mentioned that command
line as to be executed after a login, if not let me know.

what do you mean by "after login"? This command is what gdm or gnome-session
use. That's to know if the bug comes from GNOME or from the tools doing the suspend

Oh, sorry I misunderstood you. Yes, "sudo pmi action hibernate" and "sudo pmi
action sleep" both work correctly.

Actually no. I saw the "Suspend" action on the GDM menu so I thought that even if the keys didn't work, if I clicked on it the laptop would suspend but I've just tried it and choosing the Suspend action doesn't nothing besides showing a confirmation dialog.

Does the suspend option from the GNOME session dialog work fine?

Yes it does, although when I resume from suspend-to-RAM the session dialog is still showing and the screen isn't locked.

Although it isn't critical it's a bit annoying having to dismiss the session dialog.
