Bug Description

To reproduce:
Run System Settings->About Me
There, either:
  1. Edit text area for Name etc. and press apply and add password to the kdesudo window. It then shows an error message: Permission Denied
  2. You may either just click on the blank button to change account image. It prompts that "Your administrator has disallowed changing your image"

Clearly, a permission issue.

Notes:
Output of executing systemsettings from terminal is attached -- CLI.txt
Refer to last 4th line of output in CLI.txt -- It shows "Needs root privs: false"
This should be set to "true" instead (as for example, this is set to true when selecting Login Manager in System Settings.

Not as simple as running it with kdesudo like we do for the other modules. If you ran it with sudo you would get root's user info in About Me.

Even thought the dialog shows up, your changes to your name, email, etc will still be changed. The only thing that is truly broken is changing your password, which complains that you didn't give a password in the first place.

Even when the name is changed, it prompts that password changing failed.
Can this be solved by adding to sudoers?

This works just fine on a fresh jaunty... can someone please confirm?

Yup, no longer an issue in Jaunty. KDE 4.2 fixed it I guess.

Alas, on a fresh beta install of 9.04, changing the name or email address -- while successful -- confusingly brings up a "failed" dialogue:

"""
An error occurred and your password has probably not been changed. The error message was:
chfn: Permission denied.
"""

So while the name _is_ changed, the erroneous error dialogue leaves me quite confused.

(Note that changing the password works flawlessly, so maybe this belongs to a separate bug report.)
