Bug Description

In servlist_.conf, handling multiple channels with channel passwords seems to generally be handled like so:

J=#chan1,#chan2,#chan3,#chan4 chan1pass,chan2pass

In the server list box, this gets listed like:
#chan1
#chan2
#chan3
#chan4 chan1pass
chan2pass

Having it be as simple as a text box next to the channel name for the channel password would lovely.

Tks,
Jeff Bailey

Guillaume,

It's a mix of that bug, and that xchat-gtk already has a format in the configuration file for this which is misparsed.

The request for a simple gui way of doing the password is a bit wishlist. The misparsing I think is a real bug.

Thanks!

Tks,
Jeff Bailey

I don't think this bug should be marked 'wishlist'. Configurations migrated from xchat-gtk can have these channel passwords in them, and xchat-gnome displays them in a crazy order. I haven't tried, but I suspect that editting the channel list will break a working configuration.

Guillaume, do you think you could get a patch for that before dapper?

We just released the 0.13 version with this feature.

Test and feedbacks are more than welcome.
Especially if you migrate from a xchat configuration with channels passwords.
