Ubuntu Kernel keeps hard disk light on constantly

Bug Description

Ubuntu breezy 5.10 makes my hard disk light stay on always. This does not happen on other distros or on custom kernels.

My hardware

120 gb SATA HD
Intel chipset

Sorry for the delay. Nope this is not an issue with the newest version. I
think it was the way the kernel was compiled i could duplicate when
compiling my own kernel. This was too long ago for me to remember what it
was. But thanks for the follow up.
