  * Sync on debian
  * debian/patches/022_disable-viqr-im-for-vi-locale.patch:
    - change from Ming Hua, don't activate the viqr input method for Vietnamese
  * debian/rules: Fix the binary-arch/binary-indep targets to build
    cleanly under make -j, by setting a PARALLEL_FLAGS variable and
    passing it to make instead of exporting MAKEFLAGS.

followed seb128 suggestion to install libgail18 and ended up unable to login at GDM.

Starting X from a TTY also wont work.

installing libgail-dev fixed the problem.

leaving this ticket open so that the origin of the problem can be found

I found that changing from gdmgreeter to gdmlogin works without the new libgail package.

jaunty 64
installing (apt-get) libgail18 by hand let libgtk+2.0 to be installed and set up too.
That solved to me any loadin problem to X
