Bug Description

While I work with Kontact, I noticed that listview where you can read e-mail subjects and sender informations gets messed. Partly invisible, partly unreadable.

There's no way to restore normal behavior, you'll need to quit your application.

this bug only occures in 3.5.1 KDE from Kubuntu.org packages.

I can confirm this. It does resolve itself if I switch to another mailbox and back, but I can't reliably predict when it'll happen.

Switching mailboxes won't fix it for me. Are you using POP3 or IMAP based one?

this only recently started happening to me in dapper (with multiple IMAP accounts), it seems to occur if I do things quickly, such as changing folders or scrolling down a folder that possibly hasn't fully loaded? Most times changing to another folder and back will clear it but other times I have to change to a few folders which all messup before I get back to normal

I can confirm on current dapper, as described by Kenny.

I'd like to re-confirm the problem in 3.5.4. It seems only to happen when I switch mailboxes while the currently selected mailbox is still trying to load.

Is this still an issue with Edgy or Feisty using KDE 3.5.6 or 3.5.7?

I haven't seen it happen for some time.
