Apache2 user/group not correct in configuration

Bug Description

Binary package hint: apache2-mpm-prefork

On new Apache2-Installation (via Synaptic) the User&Group is not correctly set.
Instead a placeholder "${APACHE_RUN_USER}" is left.

Which file are you referring to?

The main Apache2-config ( /etc/apache2/apache2.conf ).

Hi,

This is actually correct behavior. The APACHE_RUN_USER variable is set in /etc/apache2/envvars. If you use apache2ctl instead of apache2, then you won't get errors. The same is true of the init script.
