Bug Description

I'm using the LiveCD of Ubuntu Jaunty Alpha 2.

With special effects (compiz) enabled, large windows opened after compiz was enabled aren't redrawn (unless resized or minimized & restored). This affects OpenGL windows too. Windows that are resized to a larger size are also affected by this bug, even if they were created before compiz was enabled. With "large windows" I mean windows larger than about 319x200 pixels (it seems that the total size of the window is what counts, not the width/height independently).

My graphics card is a ATI Radeon X300. Previous releases of Ubuntu have worked fine.

This had been fixed by the latest Xorg driver updates. Sorry

Changed in compiz:

I am using Jaunty as updated to-date and this is occurring to me on an ongoing random basis.

It does not seem to be size / shape related and one in three windows will come up undrawn.

I am using compiz on a system that has been updated from a full install on hardy.

I have nvidia hardware + proprietary driver.

It seems to have occurred since the last nvidia / compiz update.
