On the source+ page, provide external links

Bug Description

On the page http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/<package>, it would be very useful to have a section called "External Links".

For Ubuntu, each package page should have a link to the corresponding package pages on http://packages.ubuntu.com and http://packages.qa.debian.org , and possibly also upstream's homepage.

We currently need to do a lot of URL typing when looking for reports on a particular package. These links would make our life easier.

Are the link targets you mention guaranteed to be available? Or is it possible that they might sometimes be broken (missing package information, for example)?

Well, nothing is guaranteed :-)

For packages NEW in Ubuntu: I am not sure how quickly after a source package is accepted in Ubuntu it will get a page on http://packages.ubuntu.com . I would expect it would be a matter of hours, but that's only a guess.

For packages that have been sync'ed or merged from Debian: If the package is in Debian, it will have a page in http://packages.qa.debian.org , and certainly at the time it is sync'ed into Ubuntu.

The upstream homepage is more tricky -- that reference would have to be pulled from debian/control , and who knows how accurate or up-to-date the information is.

In any case I think it may be necessary to have a bit of code to check the existence of these URL's before they are displayed.
