Bug Description

Flight4:

I have a Trendnet TEW-441PC AR5212 802.11abg NIC capable card. I had no problems configuring it for the wireless network in university.

I use a Cisco vpn client for accessing the internet. I compiled it with kernel source for i386 from Flight4.

I was surfing the internet without problems.

But then I openend the gnome-netstatus-applet again because I wanted to change an option and my notebook had a total lock. My keyboard was dead and also the system cause the clock didn't function any more.

So this bug does not always happen.

I will attach some log files.

reassigning to linux, a box freeze is not an app issue

Haven't had any locks any more. If there is a complete lockup again I will post it here.

Never say never:

my computer had a total freeze again. I was online with my Atheros based Wifi card when the whole computer had a lock up - couldn't do anything any more. Had to press the power button.
