Battery not detected for Vaio PCG-K195HP

Bug Description

Battery is not detected when I start the laptop. It seems a bug in the battery kernel module, since I can get the batter work doing a modprobe -r battery && modprobe battery.
The ACPI module doesn't recognize the battery event: when I plug/unplug the AC cable, nothing happens.

It seems that with the latest live of Dapper the problem is resolved.
I'll do some other test...If this problem is resolved, may I close the bug?

Sorry...I totally forgot this bug. The problem is still here. I thought to be resolved in the last kernel release (2.6.15) but it was for a workaround I found: I added the line

modprobe -r battery && modprobe battery

into the acpid script, just before starting acpi daemon. So I solved the problem.

I saw the bug is now in "Fix released" state: what does it mean? Is there a patch to definetly solve the problem?
