Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimp

I imported this drawing from page 4 of a PDF, then I cropped and saved it. The file was saved successfully. Then I tried to invoke the Image menu, and thereupon GIMP crashed. Presumably apport uploaded a lot of useful junk here.

I can confirm this bug, too. It happens when I try to click on the menus in Gimp. Gimp will just randomly exit. Looking at the crash report data tells me it is the same bug as this one.

Repeat of above. Architecture is x86_64. Occurs with both indexed and RGB images. Same build of gimp is working fine on i386 system on the same images.

This seems to be a duplicate of gtk bug 331306, according to upstream developers.
