Bug Description

Edward made a couple of reports in bug #330717 which aren't about sharding, so I'm opening a separate bug for them:

1. Search results page should say when there are no results.

For example: http://openlibrary.org:8080/fullsearch?q=youtube

This page could say something like:

Your search - youtube - did not match any documents.

2. Searching for this term gives an error: "Test

http://openlibrary.org:8080/fullsearch?q=%22Test

<type 'exceptions.AttributeError'> at /fullsearch
'NoneType' object has no attribute 'text'

3. (from Edward by email): with 1024x768 browser resolution, the fulltext entry box in the advanced search form is scrolled off the bottom of the screen, so it's easy to not notice that it is there.

4. There is a pending request to expose fulltext search on the OL front page, maybe with a check box on the front page search box. I thought there was another open bug for this but I haven't been able to find it.

I've been hacking on the fulltext template for some other reasons so will try to fix this alongside.
