Bug Description

Gitosis is frequently used for Git hosting management.

It Build-Depends on debhelper 7, but doesn't appear to use any of its features, so I've attached a patch that removes that dependency for the Hardy backport.

I've tested that the package builds, installs, and runs on Hardy with that patch.

It also builds, installs, and runs on Intrepid

Actually, since debhelper 7 is in hardy-backports now, I guess even that patch isn't needed, is it?

It looks like this bug requests a backport from Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope). However, as Jaunty is no longer supported, such a backport is no longer possible.
