Bug Description
The 'change details' page asks the user to enter the IRC network like irc://irc.
As the 'change details' page is clearly asking the user to insert the irc://-

Yep. This is borked. The code could inspect the value to decide if irc should be prepended. I think we really want to fix the data and the validator do that the template has to think about this issue.
