Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

When you copy 2 different groups of files on a samba share, this occurs.

Steps to reproduce:
1- Connect to a samba share
2- Copy some big files to it (~1GB total, might work with any file)
3- Copy some other files to the same share, around the same size as in 2
4- Wait
5- Nautilus crashes and restarts

Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

scrollkeeper: installed version None, latest version: 0.3.14-16ubuntu1
ttf-dejavu: installed version None, latest version: 2.28-1

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!

I'm getting this on jaunty
$ apt-cache policy nautilus
nautilus: Installed: 1:2.26.0-0ubuntu4

copying a file over samba will make Nautilus crash reproducibly.

This happend to me when I did the following:

1) Extract a small rar file (about 100mb).
2) Right after it was done(0.5 secs), I dragged the mouse(while holding left button down) to mark the rar file, and some other files.
3) When the "mark area" hit the icon, nautillus crashed..

Reproduced #10 with rar extraction, only I didn't drag/mark any file(s), I simply clicked in the window's background (not on an icon) to bring it to focus, then it crashed.

Up-to-date xenial.
