Bug Description

In Jaunty, I type Alt-F2 to start krunner. Then I type my calculation: '=66.02 -25.37'
It gives me the following result: '40.64999999999999'

Same if I type '66.02 - 25.37 ='

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04

$ apt-cache policy kdebase-workspace-bin
kdebase-workspace-bin:

Checked again after update.
66.0'=66.02-25' -> '= 41.019999999999996'

Useless to say that Speedcrunch is NOT affected by bug!

$ apt-cache policy kdebase-workspace-bin

This bug is still valid. It should just point to a different bug number in
KDE's bug database.

Fixed upstream in the KDE 4.2.3 branch, but I'll backport the fix to our KDE 4.2.2 to make sure thta they get in before Kubuntu 9.04 is released.

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. But don't worry! This issue is being tracked by the KDE developers at: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=167986
Once fixed in KDE, it will be included in Kubuntu once the KDE version the fix is in in reaches Kubuntu.
