Broken interface rendering in adept while scim is active

Bug Description

In current Kubuntu Dapper, if scim is loaded, the adept package manager requires several orders of magnitude more time to render interface elements.

The consequence of this bug is that adept is unusable in locales that require scim input method support (e.g. Chinese)

Yuriy, this has been fixed for a while now. However the error could have also been due to starting Adept with sudo and kdesu. I am going to close this one, and if the issue still arises, I urge you to reopen this report with further information.
