encoding preferences are not stored

Hi !

I run kubuntu-breezy with german language
environment.

mschoechlin@lt-msch: $ env|grep LC
mschoechlin@lt-msch: $ env|grep LANG
LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=de_DE:de:en_GB:en
----
If I login from konsole to remote systems (via ssh) which do not support
utf8 charcters, german characters are not displayed
correctly.

Changing konsole´s default encoding by selecting
1.) "settings"->"encodings" -> "west european (iso8859-1)"
2.) "settings"-> "save as default settings"
does not work.
After a restart, these settings are forgotten by konsole.

I reported this bug many months ago, but it semms that this bug was lost while transition from bugzilla to malone.

this is broken for a long time now - i´m unhappy about that because
everytime i have to start a fresh konsole, i firstly have to modify the
encoding settings.

No, i don´t know - i haven´t tested the dapper-drake live iso yet....
The bug is easy to reproduce.

- Save the described charset
- Close all windows
- Logout
- Login
- Check the setting

If this does not happen in Dapper, this won't be fixed in Breezy. I close the bug. If you can reproduce it under Dapper, please re-open.
