Unable to choose a folder graphically

i've noticed the same behavior.

To be more precise, the problem is that the filename has the full path in it. If you delete the full path from the field and just leave the name of the file then the file selector works fine.

To fix the issue, the filename should not have the full path of the bittorent file but just the name of the file.

can you retest with gnome-btdownload 0.0.22-1ubuntu6 (or whatever the latest version in dapper is)?

I can't reproduce this, and I think it may have been fixed by the following upload:
gnome-btdownload (0.0.22-1ubuntu4) dapper; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/set_icon.patch:
    - patch by Vincent Untz, set a default windows icon (Ubuntu: #37615)
  * debian/patches/current_folder.patch:
    - patch by Vincent Untz, "Correctly set current folder in file chooser"
      (Ubuntu: #37619)

Solved by update…

I am using Kubuntu right now, I switched to check out what Kubuntu is
all about these days, so as of right now I won't be able to accurately
test it, however I highly doubt the problem still exists.
