crash on slideshow (dapper drake 64bit)

Bug Description

Whenever I run the slideshow function in gthumb it crashes every time.

I'm running Dapper amd64 and the version of gthumb is 2.7.4-0

Thanks for the bug report and the debug trace. It seems like it crashes in gamma_info_init in gs-fade.c. Please attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log also.

I've got the same problem on Dapper 32:
Whenever i request a fullscreen view (or a slide show), gthumb crashes.

Console output:
The program 'gthumb' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 8773 error_code 2 request_code 134 minor_code 15)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.

Could you please do as the terminal tells you?

$ gdb gthumb
(gdb) break gdk_x_error
(gdb) run --sync
(gdb) thread apply all bt

Sorry, this is my first bug report, could have imagined a debug output is more useful than the command line output...
